You may not consider yourself to be a likely target for online crime and fraud however in the last year, half of UK businesses suffered some form of cyber-attack. If you use email, phones, social media or online banking within your business, join us to increase your understanding of cyber security and business resilience, ask questions, and take steps to become more aware of how to protect your all-important data!
The North East Business Resilience Centre (NEBRC) is a not-for-profit organisation which exists to help protect businesses in the North East, Yorkshire and the Humber from online crime and fraud. We are closely linked to the seven police forces in our region and have serving police officers working within the Centre, as well as connections to Northumbria and Sheffield Hallam Universities.
The aim of the centre is to help businesses to make informed choices on keeping cyber secure, we do this through our free Core Membership package. As part of this free Membership, businesses receive a monthly e-newsletter with the latest advice and guidance on cyber security matters, as well as many other benefits which we will discuss in our presentation!
